Self Promotion: Small Voice, A Photo Exhibit

Shameless self-promotion time. (Hey, it's my blog, after all)... We are a group of six photographers holding an exhibit at the Alcove, Filipinas Heritage Gallery, until the 21st of March. The exhibit is called "Small Voice" and a portion of the proceeds will go to Childhope Asia Philippines (LINK).

In the exhibit, we have attempted to capture in images the voices of children that often go unheard. The exhibition includes recent work by Cocoy Alfanta, Joachim Bondoc, Edward Chua, Diane Capili, Mary Anne Palmiery, and myself. Please check it out if you have the time.

The Filipinas Heritage Gallery is located at the Neilsen Tower, once the airport tower back during the day when Ayala Avenue was still a runway, and Makati was farmland. Despite the grand sounding "tower" in its name, it is really a small two story structure. It is in front of the Peninsula Manila, along Makati Avenue, near the corner of Ayala Avenue. You can check out the FHL website HERE.

Romi Garduce tries E

Garduch (rightmost) with fellow UP Mountaineers on Mt. Gulugod

Garduch (Romi Garduce) is attempting to be the first Filipino to summit Mount Everest. For the past months after his Cho-Oyu climb last September, he has kept his plans under the radar, revealing them only at the last minute, shortly before his departure to Nepal.

Good luck Romi! Wag kalimutan yung pasalubong naming yak!
